Amber truly always goes above and beyond for both her patients/families and her coworkers. She has always been a great mentor; she is extremely humble, compassionate and honestly the best nurse ever. She has taught me and many other new grads so much. She also has the most amazing skills, especially when it comes to interacting with patient's families. There have been so many times I've watched her help people through difficult times and been amazed by how she handles situations. She's also an outstanding teacher and always happy to lend a hand.
Amber displays all the characteristics everyone thinks about when thinking of a nurse - kind, patient, caring, gentle touch and tough love techniques. She is a great listener to all staff, patient's families. Best preceptor I have ever been around. She really develops the new hires into being ready to be on their own. Very knowledgeable from policies to skills to knowing what to say in the tough situations. You want Amber on your team - a go-to person and very dependable.
