For Amber,
Just a note to let you know how much you are appreciated…While T was in the hospital for his lungs and low oxygen levels, you were there for him every step of the way. You have no idea how much that meant to us…Even when you were busy, you found the time to talk, to listen, to laugh with him…and yup, even take him for walks. You helped with an awkward situation and made it funny for him to put on his “dress up stockings”. You helped a frightened man to find a few moments that he could smile and take himself away from the issues at hand. You told us your fishing and hunting stories…making us sorry that we didn’t know your whole family. You were “heaven sent” and that means the world to us. What we are trying to say is Thank You…I truly hope that other nurses take lessons from you and your techniques…You are one in a million.
