I brought my son to the ER. He was very sick with pericarditis cardiac tamponade and bilateral atelectasis. His first night in the hospital Amber was his nurse. The doctors talked about sending him home. I myself have been a nurse for 18 years. Amber was a huge advocate for my son. I have never in all my years seen a nurse fight so hard for the health of a patient! Had they sent my son home he most definitely would have died. The next day they pulled a liter and a half of fluid from around his heart! So I will forever be great full for Amber!
