Amber joined us out in the Healing Garden as a sitter for my partner who has suffered a stroke. It was a sunny warm day - so this was a relaxed time for my partner and a nice change from his small room. She easily became a part of our family and entered into our conversations as though she had known us forever. She knew instinctively just the right words to add to the feelings of "family."
All the staff in this unit has been exceptional in their professionalism and thoughtfulness. We will leave with a feeling of new "friends" having been made. The team worked with us with great empathy and compassion no matter how difficult it got.
Thank you to everyone who makes this such a great place to be hospitalized in! You all are #1 in my book.
