Amber took care of a female patient on the inpatient rehab unit who wanted to discharge before therapy was completed in order to go to another unit and stay with her spouse who was very ill. Amber calmed the patient and told the patient that she would take her to see her husband. After Amber's shift, she dressed the patient and fixed her hair. She took the patient to visit her husband which was beneficial to the patient and her spouse. Amber is receptive to patients needs and will go above and beyond to meet her patient's needs.
