When she came on duty, little did she know her life would change forever. She found a patient throwing up an obscene amount of blood that just kept coming. Amber never hesitated - she took me straight to ICU. She saved my life! I personally don't remember any of it, but those who saw and witnessed me almost dying - literally - said it was horrifying. I am thankful that she kept a clear head, thought quickly, acted even quicker, and was committed to doing her best - for ME. Even after that day, when other issues popped up, she advocated for me, listened to me, and was able to promptly and accurately provide all that I needed.
