I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Nurse Amber on the Med-Surg floor, who cared for my brother during his recent hospitalization.

My brother was admitted after a serious accident in which he jumped from a second-floor balcony and sustained significant injuries, including fractures to his hip and tibia that required surgery. In addition to his physical injuries, he has been struggling with mental health challenges, which at times made him very agitated, confused, and resistant to taking his medications.

During the two days that Nurse Amber cared for him, she demonstrated exceptional professionalism, compassion, and patience. She consistently took the time to keep me informed about my brother’s condition and treatment, which meant a great deal to our family during a very stressful time.

What impressed me the most was the genuine care she showed toward my brother. Even when he refused medication or became difficult, she calmly tried different approaches to help him receive the care he needed. She treated him with dignity and kindness, without any judgment regarding his mental health condition.

Seeing a healthcare professional care for my brother with such dedication and heart was truly touching. Nurse Amber went above and beyond her duties, and her compassion made a meaningful difference for both my brother and our family.  Please extend my heartfelt thanks and recognition to nurse Amber for the outstanding care she provided.
