Amber Hernandez, Nursing Student

Amber is an inspiring, compassionate nursing student whom I have had the pleasure of working with for the past three terms in the nursing core. She always remains positive and is constantly motivating other students to do the same. She utilizes all of the resources available to her to really soak everything in, in order to be a safe and competent nurse. She helped to share this information with incoming nursing students to really get them motivated and excited to be one step closer to achieving their dreams of becoming a nurse. She goes out of her way to provide updates on her successes, as well as any challenges that arise, but she never waivers. She has even taken on a nursing externship in order to get more experience working with patients. Her positivity is contagious and I have no doubt she will continue to do amazing things on her journey as a nursing student, as well as in practice.
