Amber Hernandez 2, BSN, RN

I would like to nominate Amber from the Emergency Room. Not only did she make me feel comfortable, but she also helped by letting me know that it’s okay not to feel well. She didn’t let me feel like I was a bother to her or any of the other staff. She went above and beyond to help me feel like I mattered. She also didn’t let me feel like I was just another patient. She constantly checked on me to make sure I was warm enough and I wasn’t in a lot of pain. She made sure my meds were working, and she did all this with a smile, making me laugh, and always said that she enjoyed what she did. I wish the world had more people like her. She knows how to make a sick person feel better.
