My mother is 100-years-old and fell and had a small crack in her hip. On Monday we were told they planned to do surgery on Tuesday morning. But we were not given any details about the surgery. When the family arrived on Tuesday morning we were in the dark about what was going on because there were no further preparations for surgery. Amber took it as her mission to find out everything she could about my mom’s case and treatment plan. She went out of her way to dig into the doctor’s notes to give us a full explanation about her treatment plan. She set us at ease about my mom’s treatment and explained everything in detail in a way that we could easily understand. Her clinical knowledge and communication skills were excellent.

During the rest of the day, she continued to show compassion and caring above the expected norm. She works tirelessly to do everything in her power to provide the best medical and mental health care for my mom and kept our family informed. We only had Amber as a nurse for one day but she impressed us tremendously. Everybody on the staff provided excellent care and compassion. They were all professional and all deserve kudos for a job well done.
