It is nurses like her that make a person's stay in the hospital a little bit easier. I appreciate Amber so much!
I was sent to the ER from acute care due to elevated heart rate and shortness of breath. After evaluation, I was sent to an ER room where I had Amber, my main nurse. At almost 50 years old, this is my first time ever having to go to the ER. Needless to say, I was a little nervous, but I had no idea what was about to happen. Amber sat by my side, reassured me everything was going to be okay and was so kind in the process.

Quickly, things progressed, and I had a saddle blood clot in my lungs. I can remember her running up to get me from the chest X-ray after learning of the diagnosis. She once again reassured me and stayed with me the whole time while calming me down. Thankfully, after an emergency procedure to remove the clots, I got moved to the ICU, where, once again, I was well taken care of. However, the following morning, Amber came to check on me and told me she was thinking about me and praying for me all night. It was so kind of her to think of me and, again, check on me.

I had a lot of concerns while under her care, but one was my upcoming trip to Italy. She constantly said, "Remain positive; I'm sure you'll be able to go." Well, tomorrow I leave for my trip and I'm so excited. I cannot express how sweet and kind she was to me in the ER. She made a stressful situation a little calmer for me. It is nurses like her that make a person's stay in the hospital a little bit easier. I appreciate Amber so much!
