I wanted to take a moment and recognize Amber House for her professionalism with a very difficult patient. This patient was recently admitted to the unit and was confused and combative and Amber was injured during her care of him. When, a week later, this same patient was readmitted with the same diagnosis, Amber did not shy away from taking care of this individual. She continued to provide the same quality care to this patient in spite of having recently been injured by him. She rose above how she may have felt personally to perform her duties in the upstanding manner that was not only admirable, but was a shining example of what our profession stands for. I am honored to work beside her.
