Amber exudes the quality of concern which we want in our nurses in such a depressing time in my life.
Amber has taken such kind, loving care of me attending to me on chemo days. A warm blanket, a heartfelt word of encouragement, an explanation of what is happening, defining drugs, asking about my comfort if I hurt. Amber exudes the quality of concern which we want in our nurses in such a depressing time in my life. Stage 3 ovarian cancer. We share anecdotes about family which eases the burden. She laughs with me and carries my bag of meds pole to the ladies’ room routinely. She is youthful and dedicated throughout this pandemic. I admire these above all workers- hospital people. They are people you want on your team. I’ve only known her since year 2 of chemo; I moved to Lynchburg for an oncologist. But I will greatly look forward to and appreciate having her help me again. Love you Amber With too much gratitude to express. I live alone, am 68, and have no one.
