Amber Krivda, RN

I want to recognize Amber for her critical thinking skills and collaboration with other departments in order to arrange scans, PEG tube insertion, and radiation appointments for a patient who lives in Grand Island. The patient and his wife preferred to come to St. E's for treatment rather than get treatment in Grand Island. She went above and beyond on a Friday afternoon to get everything arranged and even did the insurance authorizations, so this man, who has not been able to eat barely anything, wouldn't have to wait another week to get nutrition and get started on treatments. Despite many roadblocks, she did not give up and did what was right for the patient! Great job, Amber!
