Amber Morris 2026, ADN, RN

Amber epitomizes excellence. She was instrumental in establishing the SFH Endo department as a department of efficiency, safety, and great patient care. She helped design and implement processes throughout the department that keep it running smoothly. She will not leave the hospital until everything has been done and prepared for the next day's procedures.

She is dedicated to showing by example how to be efficient in her work. Amber is patient and is gifted at teaching and training new staff who join the department. She does not cut corners when it comes to safety. Amber frequently comes in on Fridays when the department doesn't have any procedures to answer phone calls to make sure patients have the information they need for their upcoming procedures.

She has learned that this extra effort makes Mondays run much smoother and offers great patient care and communication. Amber is very generous with other staff members. She is willing to gently correct co-workers if she sees a safety concern, but it's always done very professionally and in a non-condemning way. Amber never expects anyone to do something she isn't willing to do herself.
