When I was in horrific pain and terrified I wasn't goiong to receive the treatment/surgery to repair things, Amber grabbed my hands, looked me in the eyes as I was crying, and said, "M, we WILL take care of you and you WILL get the care you need to make things well again. We aren't going to send you home like this." She calmed my soul and took care of me for several days, even stopping by to check on me before I went home when I wasn't her patient, and she was assigned to another floor. Words cannot express the powerful impact she had on my stay here.
