My 76-year-old mother has unfortunately been a frequent visitor to the Cancer Center over the past 5 years. In the course of her treatment, she has participated in a clinical trial and came across Amber who has been amazing and has gone above and beyond her job duties. My mother's health recently took a turn with surgeries, ER visits, ICU, and more that excluded her from the trial, however, Amber has visited her and checked in almost every time my mother was admitted to the hospital or was onsite for treatments. She has helped us navigate care amongst a variety of doctors, she's caught things to ensure better continuity of care with different procedures and prescriptions from different doctors, she has quickly helped us get answers when others left us hanging, and she has made me so grateful to know she's been a resource and will continue to be so for my mom! All of this took place after my mother was no longer directly included in the clinical trial that Amber manages. I live 4 hours away and am relieved and comforted to know that Amber is part of the Cancer Center and my mother's care. I truly can't say enough good things about Amber.
