Amber was the best nurse I have had during my stay here. She is always smiling, happy and tries doing the same for the patient. She is very patient and listens to all I had to say. If she didn’t have an answer for you, she will get one. I thing she truly loves her job and is shows. Amber needs recognition for all her commitment and hard work. I wish all nurses were like her.
Amber is the kind of nurse that everyone loves. She is approachable, compassionate, empathetic and funny. Every time I would take a patient after she had worked with them, I'd often hear great things about how she cared for her patients. Patients and families have often told me about how wonderful she is to work with, how much she truly cares about her patients and what a great advocate she is for them. As a former co-worker, I can say that many of these attributes carried over into her relationships with the staff on 4W. Amber is always willing to jump in to offer assistance as well as provides a positive attitude about things, even when the situation is tough. Amber deserves praise for all her hardwork, patience, and attentiveness to her patient's and co-workers, because I know that if I were ever a patient, I would want Amber to be my nurse.
Amber is one of our most dedicated, compassionate, and skilled rehab nurses. She connects with patients and is attentive to their needs. She is a strong communicator, is open to having a dialogue about care and to learn about new ideas and concepts. In an environment in which we need to coordinate our care and work together to help patients reach goals, Amber serves as an ideal team member to make this happen. She is also dedicated to the improvement of our care which was demonstrated in her participation in the committee to improve bladder management for people with spinal cord injuries. And, most importantly, every day she comes to work and does this all with a positive attitude and a smile.
