Amber was my brother's nurse for two days in a row while he was admitted to the hospital. He lives in an assisted living facility and has some cognitive impairment. She was so kind and compassionate with him and picked up on the fact that he was mentally disabled. My brother has multiple medical conditions that make it difficult for him to do everyday things. During one of his episodes, she gave him reassurance that he was going to be alright. He ended up having multiple episodes while she was on duty, and she held his hand to comfort him.

When my brother was alert and able to start doing things for himself again, she explained in detail everything they were doing or going to do to him in terms he could understand. She even made him laugh which put him at ease. She went above and beyond with not only my brother, but in communicating extremely well with me. She kept me updated and was very supportive. She is an incredible nurse, and this hospital is extremely lucky to have her working here!
