Amber Tate 2023, RN

Amber was so attentive to my daughter and son-in-law as they delivered their first child. She calmed their fears and established a great rapport with them. S has a phobia of hospitals, and Amber had her smiling and at ease from the very start. I witnessed this when I stepped into the room that morning. Amber explained procedures and prepared them for what to expect by teaching them. She was very professional and established their trust by showing them equipment beforehand. An example was when S asked questions about her water breaking, the fetal monitor, and the epidural. Amber also established a great rapport with us, the four grandparents, waiting throughout the day in the waiting room, by sending us updates. The delivery was a very long one. I will never forget S pushed for over 4 hours, and Amber was willing to stay with them for four hours past her shift in order to assist them and to see our granddaughter being born at 11:24 pm. Amber was the best and most caring, knowledgeable nurse. We are so very thankful that she took such great care of all of us!
