Amber is one of the kindest, most compassionate people that I have ever met. Recognition for her acts of kindness do not go unnoticed. These are often captured in discharge phone calls and during leader rounding, people praising Amber for her thoughtfulness.
She always ensures her patients' feel supported and loved. This past Christmas was no exception. Amber pretty much adopted 2 of our long-term guests who have no family or support. She made sure they had Christmas gifts and had decorations up in their rooms. She even went as far as purchasing and sending Christmas cards from a patient to his loved ones, though no visitors ever arrived. She has been their Santa, their Elf, their family, their hope. What a blessing she has been to these people in their time of need. Amber has reminded us all about the true meaning of Christmas!
