I went to the ER at UT and was admitted due to very concerning symptoms.  My stay there was as good as a hospital visit could be.  Everyone was pleasant, patient, friends, and efficient.  I could not ask for better treatment.  The facility was sparkling clean and neat.

From the ER, I was moved to 2S and had multiple tests.  The entire staff wherever I was, treated me with utmost respect and kindness.  I have never had better care.  

I received a less than pleasant diagnosis.  One nurse in particular stands out for me from everyone else.  Her name is Amber and she was on 2South.  She is extremely professional and efficient while also being friendly and compassionate.  Talking to her helped me adjust mentally to my diagnosis and its prognosis.  I truly believe that there is a special place in Heaven reserved for nurses like Amber.

Amber is not only extremely professional and efficient, she made sure that as her patient I had everything that I needed.  More importantly, she is friendly and has a special spark that sets her apart from everyone else.  During my recent hospitalization, I received a life-changing diagnosis.  Amber took the time to answer my questions and just talked with me regarding my attitude and hopes, and she primarily reassured me that my diagnosis is not a death sentence but a challenge I can win.  She is truly an outstanding, caring nurse who absolutely deserves special recognition.
