I was admitted to Marianjoy after back surgery. Amber was my night shift nurse. This was my third back surgery, I also have Parkinson's and other medical conditions. All the Marianjoy nurses have been excellent-caring, professional, and informed. But Amber went above and beyond. Because of my Parkinson's and discomfort, I have trouble sleeping and it is much worse in hospitals. One vital help is a white noise application on my phone. Around midnight or later, my noise stopped and my phone was disabled. This nurse helped me figure out that the power cord had failed. She offered me hers, was gone awhile, and returned with the cord. Later, I found out she had gone to her parked car to get it and had sanitized it for me.
