Ambulatory Care Nursing Care Team

My daughter had unexpected surgery, and the two-night ACU recovery nurses were beyond amazing. My daughter had a tough time with anesthesia and pain. She felt very sick, and things were not going great. These two stepped up and did everything possible to help her tag teaming what needed to be done, putting their heads to together on what to do and reassuring her dad and I that things will be okay. When our daughter started to get hives all over, they both came immediately: one attending to her and the other getting to a doctor. We were the last people in the recovery room and never felt like they were trying to rush us out. When she started to not feel well again after getting up, they went right back into action, making sure she was okay.

The level of care my daughter and family received from these two nurses was nothing less than remarkable. They truly cared! We were nervous about bringing her home, but they made sure she was ready, and we were too before we left!
