Amy, she is a very passionate person and has a very big and warm heart. I had the privilege of being a patient here at Banner Casa Grande and she was my nurse. She went out of her way to attend to all my needs, and her bedside manner was so compassionate that I didn't want to be discharged.
I remember I just got the news that I had to have a biopsy due to discovering a lump on my breast. I happened to share this with Amy. She just smiled, gave me a hug and told me she would be with me in spirit, and that everything was going to be fine. A nurse that takes the time to give a hug and to put that extra assurance that everything will be fine is worth more than an award. Amy has a way to pass her strength and her guides on to every individual she comes in contact with.
