We completely trust that Ami has our babies' and family's health and success in mind every time she steps in the room.
I can't provide a single story of our situation about Ami, but rather, it's the entire care she provides day after day. With twins born urgently at 28 weeks, our world was turned upside down. We had nurse Ami taking care of our twins from day one and words cannot describe the comfort she provided after a shocking and stressful arrival. Every time Ami came into the room, she would always describe to us what she was doing and why. Whenever alarms were going off, she alleviated any fears by explaining what they were for and that our girls were doing well. She also went above and beyond in her care with the girls' health and future in mind. From providing scent cloths for my husband and me to put in the isolettes to the babies' positioning to even helping "dry" breastfeed at an early age to help with the success of breastfeeding down the road; we completely trust that Ami has our babies' and family's health and success in mind every time she steps in the room. I truly don't think our girls would have improved and graduated to the level 2 NICU as quickly as they did without the extra care and support from nurse Ami. She deserves to be recognized for her care.
