Being a patient on here has been the most enjoyable hospital experience I've had in my life. Amie was my nurse throughout the first four days. She was a bright star in this old veteran's life. I've been in three VA hospitals and countless private sector ones and this young lady showed concern, patience, and a true love towards patients. You could feel her deep dedication to her position as a nurse. Amie worked well with other staff members and I could tell how she motivated people she came in contact with and this caused a spirit of joy throughout the floor. Several staff members came in my room and I could tell how she affected everyone on the floor. Amie is a true "Clara Barton" and the VA should be proud of her.
