Amie’s unwavering commitment to our patients is truly commendable. In all her patients’ care, she goes the extra mile by coordinating essential resources for them, ensuring that they have proper access to housing, healthcare transportation, and other needs she finds that may need attention. This proactive approach exemplifies her dedication to improving the lives of her patients. Amie consistently demonstrates empathy and resourcefulness and has a genuine passion for making a positive impact. Her efforts embody the spirit of the DAISY Award and exemplify excellence in case management. Tift Regional and most definitely PCU would not be the same without her.

Amie always goes above and beyond to make sure her patients have everything they need for a proper discharge. Amie is very compassionate and ensures that all needs are met during the patient’s stay. Amie went the extra mile by personally making sure a patient got home after discharge when transport didn’t work out properly. Amie is an asset to this organization and PCU is so fortunate to have her.

Amie has stayed late on multiple occasions to ensure loose ends are tied up on patients who are discharged and assists them in getting the best outcome to reduce our readmission rate. She is an advocate for our patients to get a quick and safe discharge plan. Recently, Amie was working with a patient who did not have somewhere to call home. Amie stayed late and assisted in booking a hotel room after he declined placement in a facility. Her compassion and competent nature make her an asset to Tift Regional and Progressive Care Unit. We are very grateful for all her hard work in getting patients taken care of and treating them the way they should be treated.
