Amina Douglas displayed the most extraordinary respect, honor, and selflessness toward our veteran. She stood at our patient's bedside as he passed, with his family at his side. Amina, not being the primary nurse, still took time to perform all post-mortem care for this veteran! She draped the flag over him and escorted him to the morgue.
This act of respect, honor, and selflessness was such an amazing and extraordinary act!!
I am honored to work alongside Amina and thankful that she has chosen to be a part of our team.
