Amir Haq, BSN, RN, CCRN

Amir is a tremendous asset to physicians, nurses, and patients. He’s kind, smart, and always available when called on for assistance. He takes the time to demonstrate and coach staff with unfamiliar tasks, as well as providing education when the opportunity presents itself. He is always willing to do whatever is asked of him, although it may not apply to his routine job duties. He checks in with the house manager group daily and more often when necessary. Today, I asked to borrow a travel monitor related to several pieces of lost equipment in the ED, and he stepped up and assisted in getting patients upstairs to rooms from our overwhelmed and crowded ED. He is more than deserving of this honor, and we are lucky to have him!
