Amy has stepped up in the last year when her HHD census decreased to cross-trained in PD to support the PD growth at the facility. She has an incredible relationship with her patients that is built on trust, compassion, and tough love that she requires them to do the right thing to provide the best care for themselves at home. She is dedicated to her patients and goes above and beyond to spend extra time to help them learn self-cannulation when they are scared or how to draw labs at home. She is dedicated to following up on her patients when they go into hospital but also works with IDT to determine what can we provide via support for this patient or family to be successful and remain on the home modality.
