There are not enough words to say thank you to Amy in the ICU! She went above and beyond for my friend’s mother who was passing away. She helped my friend get through the end-of-life process, she was empathetic and caring beyond the role of a nurse. As a nurse myself, it was so nice to see another nurse give and provide such wonderful care! She was honest and open with her communication and allowed us to stay until they picked up her body from the funeral home. My friend made a request for a thumbprint from her mom and though they didn’t have an ink pad she made it happen with a sharpie and fortitude! Thank you, Amy, your great deeds did not go unnoticed and we appreciated the care you provided to both my friend’s mother and to both of us also in the room. I can see why you’ve been in ICU for as long as you have, you are amazing at it!
