Amy motivates her staff with a shared vision and enthusiasm to achieve better outcomes for the team and their patients.
Amy role models extraordinary behavior by consistently seeking ways to help her employees. She has even gone so far as to help team members with the cost of food, gas, or bills when they've fallen on hard times. She is also a great emotional support person. Amy indeed advocates for her team.

This nurse creates an environment where attributes of trust, compassion, mutual respect, continued professional development, and ethical behavior are modeled and supported. Amy has often stayed with the patient's family members after traumatic events. Once, she even waited with a vehicle at the valet so the family could get to their loved one involved in a code blue.

Amy ensures our unit is stocked with beauty or hair products to help meet the needs of all patients.
Amy motivates her staff with a shared vision and enthusiasm to achieve better outcomes for the team and their patients. She makes herself and our team available to help other units in the hospital when the need arises. Amy keeps staff updated with current events and conditions of the hospital. She frequently rounds with patients and team members and is not scared to get her hands dirty by working alongside the staff. She regularly helps her team grow with real-time coaching and assistance.

Amy promotes and enhances the image of nursing within the organization and the entire community by continually looking for volunteer projects. She sets up donation boxes in the break room to help needy community members.

Amy continues to put others before herself. She never lets her team fall behind. She goes deep in the trenches with the team. She proactively looks for solutions before problems arise. Her commitment to learning, advancing her knowledge, and sharing it with those around her is astonishing. We are blessed to have her on our team.
