Amy is an excellent example of a nurse, of a leader and of a genuine kind-hearted person. She goes above and beyond the call of duty in her everyday practice. Amy works tirelessly to help others and demonstrated outstanding levels of professionalism. She is a patient advocate, she is a supportive listener for families, and her authenticity shows every single day. Amy has character qualities that remain consistent when no one is looking. She always makes time for others who need it. She has a wonderful bedside manner and clinical skills. Amy is a team player and someone I deeply respect. She is willing to assist nurses with patient needs as well! For example, after transferring a complicated patient to another hospital, Amy realized that certain patient documents weren't given to the transport team so she ran downstairs to the ambulance to make sure the papers were given to the team. She goes out of her way to maintain quality care for patients, as well as bedside nurses.
