Amy was not only professional, friendly, nice, attentive and listened to my concerns, (all of which is her job that she was hired to do) she went above and beyond in every area possible. As a former supervisor of 20 years prior to sickness, I had to acknowledge her. She was caring, concerned, and she went out of her way to make sure my concerns and needs were met. She made me as comfortable as possible in my most irritable and painful and uncomfortable state. Most importantly, she made me feel important, that I was actually being heard and that my feelings, concerns, questions and opinions matter, that I matter. I was having a "few" bad days and she turned my day around in a better way.
This is Mother's Day weekend and once again my health issues have ruined my plans, causing me to miss out. However, Amy has touched me by her sincere and caring nature. I appreciate her and I'm grateful to her for everything. I've been hospitalized "numerous" times over the last 10 years at numerous hospitals and it's rare to find a gem like her. I can tell the difference from someone who wants a paycheck and someone who truly cares about people and loves what they do. Amy is the real deal. Please allow her this time to shine. Thank you!
Note: This is Amy's 2nd DAISY Award!
