I honestly feel that had it not been for the quick action of Amy, I would not be here to tell this story.
I was in the hospital for an ablation. When getting released the following day, I felt faint. Nurse Amy immediately entered the room and asked what was going on. I told her what I was feeling, and she went into action. She called in another nurse and they re-set up my monitors and started seeing that my pulse was going below 20 and flatlined. They started calling every doctor, put me back in bed, and stayed with me the entire time. I kept feeling faint every 3 minutes for almost an hour, and she stayed with me the entire time, ensuring me I was in good hands. Additionally, she had other nurses on the floor looking at my chart to see if she was missing anything or if anything else could be done. The doctor gave me some type of medicine, and my cardiologist decided to put in a temporary pacemaker. The following day, I ended up getting a permanent pacemaker.

Additionally, during my stay, she always checked in on me and asked if I needed anything. I honestly feel that had it not been for the quick action of Amy, I would not be here to tell this story. I felt that my time was up, however, Amy reassured me that I was in good hands and thankful that it happened in the hospital and not at home. I will forever be grateful to her and the entire staff. I will always think of her as my guardian angel.
