Every now and again
there are particular
people who come
into our lives that
really make a lasting
impression. In this case,
Amy Cloud is being
nominated for her dedication
and extraordinary patient care. This
past May, Amy nursed a patient who had
suffered a stroke that left him immobilized
on his entire left side. She made a very
tough situation much better by not only
responding to the family’s needs promptly,
she extended words of comfort, encouragement
and compassion to the patient, giving
him hope. Amy’s nomination concluded
with these words, “Saint Agnes should take
pride in having such a dedicated employee
who serves your patients with professionalism,
dignity and compassion.”
