Amy arrived with a smile and wearing a pilgrims hat on Thanksgiving Day where a float pool nurse was needed in a busy PICU with no unit clerk. Her husband was in the ED hurt and she had to go take him home to wait for possible surgery but instead Amy insisted on coming back to help staff the unit. She was very helpful to everyone and allowed the unit to have a float charge because of her sacrifice. We wish she would become a permanent member of the PICU.
