Amy Crossland was our nurse when we had a baby via surrogate. Not only did Amy make both us and our surrogate feel equally loved and special, but she went the extra time with us over and over. We bonded over the tragic loss of her brother and mother passing on the same day. I knew Amy was going to be amazing when the first time we met she came into the room humming a happy tune. Amy exudes joy! She came to see us and say goodbye after she was off on day one and found us in the Mom/Baby Unit on day two. Amy went out of her way to be a happy, bright and joyful person. She was also a great labor coach! Amy was firm with directions as she needed to be, all while encouraging our surrogate. Amy was almost more excited than I was when our baby came out. Amy is wonderful and really deserves to be noticed.
