Amy Davidson 2024, BSN, RN
The nominations for Amy are provided by several patients and families of patients. In the emergency room, Amy was the nurse for a woman with dementia. The patient's family member was with the patient during the visit. Amy made sure to go above the call of duty in helping the patient. She showed great compassion and care during each interaction. Amy assisted in providing information on patient condition and checked on her like a loved one.
On another occasion, Amy cared for a patient who had just had a possible stroke. The family lived far away, and it meant the world to have Amy take such great care of their loved one. Amy had great empathy, extraordinary care, and attention to detail for her patients. It gave the family great comfort to know that their loved one was being treated so well; it takes a special person.
Another family member is grateful that Amy provided such extraordinary care, compassion, and professionalism during a visit. During the visit, the family and patient were faced with very difficult news. They find comfort in Amy's great care.
