Amy DeSantis goes above and beyond for her patients and families in the NICU. She has taken on bereavement services and spends countless hours of her own time finding resources, researching and collecting support, and talking to families. She works with two programs that assist our families and does this on her own time. She is one of the nurses that organizes and participates in the NICU fundraisers, and the NICU reunion picnic, again spending many hours outside of work. She's always willing to help other staff and supports families in all she does. She's an amazing person!
