During my long stay in the hospital while pregnant, I’ve had Amy as my nurse multiple times. She has a calm and warm demeanor and goes the extra mile to help me feel as comfortable as I can while admitted. Whether it’s helping to coordinate times for my ultrasound, communicating with the physicians on my behalf, or asking if any consultants would help answer any questions, I have to put my mind at ease, Amy was proactive about it and thought of things I wouldn’t have (but probably should have) regarding my care.

She also answered countless questions I had about delivery, motherhood, and other baby-related things— not only from her experience as a nurse here but also as a mom, which was helpful to hear about her experiences. The days when she was working with me felt notably shorter (which is great when you’re in the hospital) because of our fun conversations. She has a nurturing spirit about her, and I hope she knows the difference she has made in my stay here.
