Amy is an exemplary leader and role model who consistently supports, mentors, and advocates for nursing staff while sharing her extensive clinical expertise to strengthen patient care and uphold the values of the WellSpan Way.
Amy has proven herself as an exemplary role model for WellSpan Behavioral Health. She has been a Preceptor for most, if not all, of the LPNs in BH, as well as helping to precept many RNs in the West / Central region.
Amy was considered the "Lead Triage Nurse" before becoming our supervisor. She was the "go to" person when there were questions about the newly acquired Epic system, concerns regarding live phone calls, and what steps to take, and which office staff to contact when questions arose.
In her role as a Supervisor, she continues to shine. She is a strong advocate for nursing concerns and doesn't hesitate to assist her subordinates when issues arise. The phrase, "I got your back", describes Amy. She has a wealth of both inpatient and outpatient Nursing experience and is more than willing to share it with others.
Amy promotes the WellSpan Way by her own personal example and by encouraging others to demonstrate these values through the behaviors that represent these values.
