Amy always walked into our room with a smile on her face and compassion for my son in her eyes, she was very professional and yet personal at the same time. She made sure her job was being done properly and in a timely manner. She always kept me informed of what they were doing and what was going on. Always made sure that I was part of taking care of him. She made things personal when I let her know I was going to go wonder around, stretch my legs, and get some fresh air. She informed me about all the walking paths around here, the safe places to go and the places I should stay away from. She asked that I do not go too far for my safety and that if I wasn't back or if she hadn't heard from me within the hour she was going to call me and make sure I was okay and that nothing major had happened. That made my stay here a lot easier, not only because she was so kind and caring towards my son, but she seemed to actually care about my safety and well being as well. I couldn't have asked for a better nurse or experience! Thank you so much for everything Amy!
