She showed that she cared through emotions, body language, attitude, and input while on shift.
Amy understood my situation and could relate personally to having twins. Reassuring me while performing tasks, she showed me how to perform, such as changing diapers, feeding sessions, burping, monitoring the babies, and noticing signs to tell what babies wanted, ex, feeding, changing, and breathing. She showed that she cared through emotions, body language, attitude, and input while on shift. Made the experience not feel so overwhelming and that new parents, such as myself, need a break, and that it’s okay to ask for help. Allowed me and my son’s mother to rest and get sleep after her C-section. Made the experience of being a new parent amazing and unforgettable. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
