Amy takes the time with her families and ensures she communicates fully with them.
Amy was pulled as charge nurse and had to take patients. She still made sure that the unit secretaries had our breaks and were able to eat lunch. She took specimens down to the lab several times during the day because they were not being picked up and she didn’t want them to sit too long. She was helping to answer call lights and phone calls if I was occupied on another call. If she sees the call light blinking in the hall or hears an IV beeping, she always stops to help, even if she is not assigned to the patient. She takes the time with her families and ensures she communicates fully with them. She is amazing and always so helpful.
