Amy (Jamia) M Jones, RN, CMSRN

It is our honor to nominate Amy Jones for The DAISY award. The skills, compassion, and level of care she demonstrated were second to none. She took the time to understand my disease process and understood my mental state was secondary to my illness. She, along with many other angels, were with me every step of the way. If it weren’t for the 4th floor, I wouldn’t be here today. On one of my worst days Amy took care of me during the day and then came back to care for me at night to monitor my critically high ammonia levels when I was near comatose. She made sure I would pull through to get my transplants and I DID! This is the type of care patients receive at Deaconess Gibson Hospital. They go the extra mile. You are amazing God Bless you!
