Amy Kepple is always a safety scout for her patients. She recently advocated proper unit/bed placement for 4 patients that needed a higher level of care. She thinks through processes on what consequences could or may occur and is proactive to make sure the best decisions and processes are in place. She takes accountability and reaches out to improve upon her weaknesses. She is a safety advocate for our patients. She is also reliable and voices her ideas in the daily huddles.

This is at least the second time that I am aware of that Amy went the extra mile to make sure a patient had what they needed at discharge. Both times, she truly put the patient first. This time, the patient needed to leave, basically was going to leave against medical advice due to a family emergency. She put the extra effort in by contacting the physician and getting the patient discharge scripts. She also called the patient at home to make sure they were ok. She displays and executes our core behaviors: Customer First; Transformational Leadership, Trust Working Together, Purposeful Execution.
