Nurse Amy is always advocating for the patients. She goes above and beyond all the time. She works when no one else will want to work to keep the nurse schedule open. To us, this is such a blessing. My son is on allergy shots that have to be done every 7-28 days; if not we have to start over. She has even done a shot for us while they're with a sibling so we didn't have to turn around and come back. I have seen firsthand how Amy loves all the little patients who come through the doors of Morton Peds. My son is sad when he doesn't see her because of her smile and great attitude she has for the patients and him. He says, "Amy Rocks" and hugs her every time. As a parent, this is such a blessing to have someone care about him and all the patients. Knowing she isn't just there for a job, but because she loves what she does. Amy is a DAISY Nurse.
