Amy Lindsay, BSN, RN

Dating back to pre-COVID, Amy has always been kind, caring, and professional in dealing with patients and families. She leads by example, expects a lot of her staff but gives even more than she expects. She takes time to teach the new nurses and always explains the "WHY". During the pandemic in very high-stress situations, she held the department together by leading by example. In an emergency, I would want Amy to take care of me or my family.

Amy leads with compassion while holding her team accountable. She assesses what is happening in her department and is quick to jump in to assist her team as needed. Amy is respected by her team and by the physicians she works with. We are proud to honor Amy with this award and we would like to thank her for always going above and beyond.
